Ron has been counseling high net worth individuals and families, not-for-profits, and corporate clients since 1984. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Ron received his bachelor’s degree with majors in both accounting and computer science from the University of Evansville. He joined Baird following a successful finance and management career in the utilities industry.
With The Hollander Group, Ron’s primary responsibility is to track financial markets and economic conditions, research financial strategies and to provide insight on portfolio construction. He is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative and completed the Securities Industry Institute® course of study at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1991.
Ron and Kathy, his wife of more than 50 years, have four children and 11 grandchildren. He has held leadership roles with many groups and organizations in the Greater Evansville area, including serving as board president of the Catholic Foundation of Southwest Indiana, treasurer for the United Way of Southwest Indiana and a builder and fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity. In his spare time, he competes in bike marathons and golf and pickleball tournaments, and enjoys traveling and exploring the world.
